Donegal County Council’s Environment Section says it’s continuing to monitor the situation after a beaked whale washed ashore on Rathmullan Beach today.
The council says the whale is currently on rocks, making it difficult to access.
Officials are hoping this evening’s high tide will move the whale to a more accessible location.
