Ulster Unionists launch confidential process over concerns linked to Jeffrey Donaldson’s time in party

The Ulster Unionists are launching an “independent, confidential” process for anyone with concerns about Jeffrey Donaldson’s time in the party.

The former leader of pro-union rivals the DUP was convicted last month of 18 sex offences, committed between 1985 and 2008.

The 63-year-old began his political career with the UUP, joining in his late teens, before defecting in 2003.
