Lagan Valley MLA Robbie Butler is the new Health Minister in the Northern Ireland Assembly
His appointment follows a row between the former Minister Mike Nesbitt and Ulster Unionist leader Jon Burrows over emergency surgery at Causeway Hospital in Coleraine.
The proposal would see surgery services withdrawn and based at Antrim Area Hospital instead.
Robbie Butler was first elected to the Stormont Assembly in 2016.
