Donegal have been drawn to face Mayo in the All Ireland 1/4 finals.
Jim McGuinness’s men earned their last 8 spot with a six point win over Laois in Carrick on Shannon on Saturday on a 0-14 to 0-8 scoreline.
The reigning All-Ireland champions controlled the game throughout, with the exception of a brief period in the second half when Laois narrowed the gap to 2 points with roughly 10 minutes left.
However, Donegal proved their mental mettle with a series of scores that removed the faint hope of a major upset.
Donegal will face Connacht champions Mayo as they continue their quest to retain their title. The game will take place at Croke Park on Sunday the 4th of August at 4pm.
Tyrone have been drawn to face Ulster Champions Monaghan.
In an absorbing qualifier tie at Croke Park, Tyrone scored a first ever Championship win over Meath by 0-17 to 2-9 to earn a 1/4 final spot.
Tyone will play Monaghan at Croke Park on Saturday the 5th of August at 5pm.
