UPDATE – Search resumes in Bundoran after clothing is found on cliffs

A search is continuing in Bundoran this moring amid  fears that a person entered the water earlier yesterday (Thursday).
Clothes and other items were found on the cliff side at Roughey, an area popular with walkers in the town.
The coastguard helicopter was tasked to the scene to conduct a search.
Later in the day, CCTV showed a person exiting a taxi in the area adding to fears that someone had entered the water.
The Bundoran Lifeboat joined the search but was later stood down due to poor weather conditions.
The search from the air concluded when daylight faded, and resumed at first light.
