Derry City will again go in search of their first home win of the season on Friday evening when they host Sligo Rovers at the Brandywell.
Having drawn last weekend to current league champions St Patrick’s Athletic, the Candystripes will be looking to push on from that performance.
With both teams lying at the wrong end of the table with just three points each from four games, this run of results for City has led to their worst start to a league campaign since 2003.
Derry City Team news , Patrick McEleney (calf strain) and Barry Mc Namee (Calf Strain) are both unavailable while the FAI have now confirmed the registration of Jon-Paul McGovern so he will take part in some way on Friday evening.
