Finn Harps picked up their first set of full points for seven games on Saturday beating Cobh Ramblers in Cork 2-0.
Harps made the 600 mile round trip and made sure of the win with goals from Pat Mc Cann and Damien Mc Nulty.
The win, which was their third of the season takes the Donegal club out of the bottom two.
Speaking on Sunday Sport, Harps manager Ollie Horgan was happy to get back to winning ways.
Meanwhile the draw for the second round of the 2014 FAI Ford Cup took place on Sunday where Harps have been drawing away to Belgrove /Home Farm on Sunday 8th June.
Ulster Senior League Champions Cockhill Celtic will clash with Airtricity Premier Division side Drogheda Utd and Derry City will make the long trip to play Cobh Ramblers.
