The first Irish Water bills are due to begin arriving through letterboxes from today.
The company has already warned that they are likely to contain errors and incorrect information.
They’re urging those affected to contact them, and have hired more than 700 customer service staff to take calls on the company’s helplines.
Customers have two weeks from the date their bill is issued to pay.
The Head of Communications with Irish Water is Elizabeth Arnett……………

Meanwhile, Sinn Fein will today publish a bill to scrap water charges. The document will be published by Deputies Pearse Doherty and Brian Stanley.
However, the party’s Water Services Repeal Bill has already been ruled out of order by the Oireachtas Bills Office because it ‘involves the appropriation of revenue’.
Sinn Fein has vowed to get rid of water charges if the party comes to power.
