Herring cleared for Ulster

Ulster hooker Rob Herring will be able to play in this Friday’s Guinness Pro12 semi-final against Glasgow.
The player has been cleared of an alleged stamping offence after he had been cited in the wake of last weekend’s loss to the Warriors at Scotstoun.
Wednesday’s Independent Disciplinary hearing in Cardiff ruled that Herring was trying to free himself from a ruck and hadn’t committed any foul play.
