Man due in court in Omagh following Augher stabbing

A man has been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon in Tyrone.
The charges are linked to an incident in Augher on Thursday night, in which a 40-year-old man sustained stab wounds to his stomach.
A 29-year-old man is due to appear at Omagh Magistrates’ Court later today, a 23-year-old man who was also arrested has been released on bail pending police enquiries.
