National record for Mark English

 
Mark English continued his impressive track form on Tuesday evening after a second-place finish in the men’s 600metres at the Golden Spike meeting in the Czech Republic.
The Donegal man was placed just behind Poland’s Adam Ksczczot, but his time of 1:16.14 was a new national record.
Last weekend, English achieved the qualifying time for the world championships in the 800 metres when he ran 1:45.83 at a meet in the Netherlands.
800m Olympic Champion David Rudisha pulled-up last night after just 100m with a thigh injury.
