Donegal Deputy Padraig MacLochlainn has for the second time in a week hit out at sections of the media claiming he was stitched-up on a recent episode of Tonight with Vincent Browne.
Sinn Fein’s Justice Spokesperson appeared on the show on Wednesday night to discuss the findings of the Smithwick report.
During the debate Deputy MacLochlainn said that the IRA members who shot Bob Buchanan and Harry Breen “had a duty as much as Michael Collins and the IRA of the War of Independence”.
He says he has had nothing but support since his appearance:
