Letterkenny coach Gordan Curly spoke with Highland’s rugby correspondent Alec Mc Donald after the victory at Ravenhill.
Letterkenny Rugby Club won the Gordon West Cup for the first time on Saturday. At Ravenhill the Donegal side overcame Larne in an exciting game by 20-18 after extra time. This win makes up for the disappointing loses in 2010, 2008, 2005 and 2003 finals. Andrew Gibson, Mark Timoney and Liam Mc Glynn scored the tries for Letterkenny while Brian Peoples kick a conversion and a penalty.
