Soccer – Kenny pleased with Derry’s response

Derry City bounced back from their defeat at the hands of  Sligo Rovers to comfortably beat UCD by seven goals to nil on Friday Night. The victory was Derry’s sixth of the season and keeps the Candystrips second in the Premier Division table, three points behind leader Shamrock Rovers. Eamon Zayed took home the match ball after bagging a second half hat-trick. The other goals came from James McLean, David Mc Daid and a brace from Gareth Mc Glynn. Next up for Derry is the visit of Drogheda United to the Brandywell on Tuesday night.
