Donegal man Nick North has finished an endurance challenge he undertook to raise money for Charity.
The 53 year-old undertook a 3,000km run which began at Mozambique’s northern border with Tanzania and finished at its southern border with South Africa.
In blistering heat, the long distance runner has effectively run 66 marathons back-to-back since he set off on his journey on June 20th.
Nick initially intended to raise €45,000 for charity, but says he has so far struggled to raise more than quarter of that amount blaming the recession.
