Two men charged with the murder of William McKeeney in Glasgow

Two men have appeared in court charged with murdering a Donegal man yards from his Glasgow home.
20 year-old Asif Rehman and 19 year-old Adil Ishaq, who are both from Glasgow, were remanded in custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court after the death of William McKeeney at the weekend.
Mr McKeeney, 57, who was originally from Malin Head, died in Melville Street, in the Pollokshields area of Glasgow, at around 12.40am on Sunday as he walked home from a night out.
He was allegedly attacked in the street.
Mr McKeeney was taken by ambulance to the Victoria Infirmary, where he died from his injuries.
Rehman and Ishaq made no plea or declaration and the case was continued.
