Donegal Oireachtas members are to put forward a special case to the Environment Minister that Letterkenny Town Council should be saved.
Members of the town council met with Deputies Joe McHugh, Charlie McConalogue and Pádraig Mac Lochlainn last night, along with Senators Brian O Domhnaill and Jimmy Harte.
A number of local business representatives where also present.
