Councillor calls for CCTV on the border to track criminals

anprA Donegal County Cllr has said that the introduction of CCTV on the border would curb cross-border crime.
In the past year there have been a spate of cross border robberies.
Cllr Michael McBride says since the peace process, it has become easier to cross the border, and he claims, this has resulted in an increase in crime.
He’s calling for a system of automatic number plate reading to be introduced at border crossings in Donegal:
