A commitment’s been given that five beds will be reopened at Carndonagh Community Hospital on Monday week next.
The secretary of the Carndonagh Community Hospital Liaison Group Joe Hegarty has indicated the group was given the commitment during a meeting today with hospital management, during which other issues including x-ray, physiotherapy and day services were also discussed.
Mr Hegarty says while the the hospital will still be three beds below its full complement, this is an important development…………
