Seamus Coleman celebrated his 25th birthday last night by achieving his boy-hood dream of captaining Ireland.He follows in the footsteps of fellow Donegal man Shay Given who has also captained the country in the past.
Unfortunately, his first time as captain didn’t end with the desired result as Ireland suffered a 3-0 defeat by Germany.
After the game Seamus said it was an honour to captain his country.
