St Eunan’s College were crowned MacLarnon Cup winners for the fifth time on St Patrick’s Day beating Coláistí Inis Eoghain in yesterday’s final 1-7 to 1-5 at the Athletics grounds in Armagh.
The Letterkenny side were chasing the game from the opening minute after Darach O’Connor scored Iinshowen’s goal, but it was Termon’s Daire Mc Daid who slotted home from the penalty spot in the 68th minute to put St. Eunan’s ahead and lift the cup for the first time since 2007.
