Derry City boss Peter Hutton has spoken of his desire to keep hold of Barry Mc Namee.
Hutton told today’s Derry Journal, the club have offered the Ramelton man a new two year deal.
It emerged on Thursday that McNamee who is out of contract at Derry had spoken with St Pat’s boss Liam Buckley and that Sligo Rovers had also expressed an interest in the player.
Hutton also confirmed that Barry Molloy, has also been offered a contract to extend his stay for another year.
Stephen Dooley could however, be on his way out of the Brandywell – he started a one week trial with League one side, Wycombe Wanderers yesterday.
