11 primary school children escaped injury this morning when a tree fell on the bus bringing them to school.
At around ten to nine this morning, the Home James minibus was travelling up the hill at Lisbnennan when the driver noticed the tree in front begin to fall.
He immediately slowed the bus down, and the tree hit the front of the vehicle.
Donegal Democrat reporter Diarmuid Doherty came on the scene minutes after it happened……….
