Hoey shoots course record in Thailand

Michael Hoey leads on day one of the Thailand classic.
The Ulsterman hit a course record 8 under 64 to head the field at the Black Mountain Golf Club.
He leads Spain’s Carlos Pigem, David Lipsky from America and Taiwan’s Chien-yao Hung by a single shot, and now hopes to avoid the curse of Friday 13th in his second round.
