Detectives in Derry appeal for information following incident of criminal damage

Detectives in Derry are appealing for witnesses following a report of criminal damage to a house in the Brookdale Park area of Shantallow in the early hours of this morning.
At approximately 4.30 am a wheelie bin was pushed against the front door and set alight. The NIFRS attended the scene and extinguished the fire which is believed to have been started maliciously.
There have been no reports of anyone being injured as a result of this incident.
The PSNI are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area or who has any information to contact Police at Strand Road on the non-emergency number 101.
