SDLP member and local representative Daniel McCrossan has met with senior PSNI officers following searches in the Ballycolman area which left disabled residents shaken.
McCrossan initially called on police to review the way in which they carry out search operations and has warned that heavy handed approaches risk losing community confidence.
Speaking to Highland Radio News, Mr. McCrossan says he was pleased with how the meeting went and will be reinforcing his concerns into the future:
