Ballyare teenager Oisin Orr landed the biggest race of his fledgling career when steering Balmont Mast to victory at Dundalk this afternoon.
Sent off at 13-2 for the competitive Bar One Racing Mourne Handicap, Orr always had Balmont Mast in a handy position but showed maturity beyond his years to delay his challenge until the final strides, at which stage the Edward Lynam-trained sprinter edged to the front to deny Have A Nice Day by a neck.
Togoville was back in third. The winner is owned by Derek Iceton and was enjoying his seventh career victory.
