Slaughtneil beat Magherfelt to stay in Derry Championship

Slaughtneil have progressed to the third round of the Derry Senior Football Championship Qualifiers.
The defending champions beat Magherfelt in Thursday nights replay at Owenbeg 0-16 to 1-10.
The draw for the next stage, which was made after the game pipped Slaughtneil against Foreglen.
In the other third round ties, Eoghan Rua will meet Banagher, Dungiven takes on Ballinderry  and Loup will battle Swatragh.
The winners will join Bellaghy,  Kilrea, Ballinascreen and Lavey in the quarter finals.
