Emergency services tackling house fire on Carrigans Main Street

 

There have been traffic delays  in the vicinity of Carrigans this morning as a result of a fire.
An operation to tackle the blaze is ongoing, and motorists had been diverted away from the Main Street for a time. Traffic is now moving through Carrigans again, but gardai are urging caution.
There are no details of the extent of the damage, we understand there was no-one in the building at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
