Search suspended at Malin Head after “missing” man turns up safe and well

A search in the Malin Head area for a 58 year old Belfast man has been suspended after he turned up safe and well at Malin Head just before 11 o’clock this morning.
The man’s Volkswagon camper van has been parked close to Bamba’s Crown since yesterday morning.
Gardai were alerted when it was noticed the man had not returned to the vehicle by last night, and the Irish Coastguard was alerted.
However, he arrived safe and well at the car park this morning, having spent the night elsewhere.
