NoWDOC decision based on “forensic Assessment” of live test – Mc Loone

Following a decision not to scale back NoWDOC services in Carndonagh and Derrybeg, the man who oversaw the consultations between the HSE, GPs and Caredoc says the decision was firmly based on the outcome of the live test which took place over the summer.
Former County Manager Michael Mc Loone chaired the discussions, which led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding which was presented to the HSE West Regional Forum and local Oireachtas members.
Mr Mc Loone was asked if the political discussion and local campaigning which took place over the summer influenced the decision.
He told Highland Radio News the decision was a forensic one………..
