Anthony Molloy will be awarded the Freedom of Donegal this evening at the County House in Lifford.
The former Captain who famously led Donegal to their first ever All-Ireland Championship in 1992 is being honoured for his work as an ambassador for the county and for his contributions to Gaelic Games.
The Ardara native will be the first GAA person to receive the award.
