It has been confirmed that work on the first ever animal rehabilitation centre in Donegal is to begin next week with the hope of opening the facility in 2017.
The centre will act as a recovery stage for various animals that are sick, injured or neglected after they are treated by the local vet.
It will be located in a new and modern facility in Barrack, Ramelton.
