Man pleads guilty to robbing Killybegs petrol station and other offences

A 22-year-old man has admitted robbery at a filling station, dangerous driving after it, and damage to another motor car.
Gavin Harte, of Innismore Rd, Farnamullen, Lisbellaw, Enniskillen, pleaded guilty at Donegal Circuit Court to robbing €400 cash from Breslin’s Service Station, Donegal Rd, Corporation, Killybegs, last November 7.
Mr. Harte also pleaded guilty to dangerous driving the same day at Mountcharles, and criminal damage to a car, the property of Philomena Caldwell at Main Street, Donegal town.
Harte also pleaded guilty to driving without insurance.
He was remanded on continuing bail by Judge John O’Hagan for sentencing to another sitting of the court in October,
Another man, 24-year-old Ivan Crawford, of Galliagh Park, Enniskillen, pleaded guilty to the theft of €400 on Tuesday in the same incident at the service station. He was also remanded on continuing bail to the October court.
Judge O’Hagan ordered that each man undergo a probation report for assessment if they are suitable for community service. He also ordered victim impact reports linked to the offences by both defendants.
