Ireland manager Martin O’Neill has been given a massive boost ahead of Monday’s Euro 2016 opener against Sweden.
Jonathan Walters, who has been struggling with an Achilles injury, took full part in training today.
Robbie Keane and James McCarthy also took part in the session.
It means O’Neill will have a full squad available for selection as the Boys In Green look to begin their tournament with a win.
Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane says medical staff will monitor Walter’s reaction to the workout.
