A Derry Councillor has condemned those behind two pipe bombs being left in the Highmoor Road area of the city.
The devices were found during an operation involving police and ATO on Thursday and one line of enquiry is that they are connected to violent dissident Republican terrorism.
Cllr. Paul Flemming says this kind of activity is not wanted or welcome and is appealing to locals to contact police if they can assist them with the investigation:
