Michael Boyle and Dermot McCafferty in a Honda Civic won the junior category in the Donegal International Rally.
Michael is a son of Declan Boyle, the 2014 winner of the international rally in Donegal.
With his father having gone out of this year’s main event, Michael’s success was some consolation for the Boyle family.
He spoke after crossing the finishing ramp at the Mount Errigal Hotel in Letterkenny.
