Councillor Ciaran Brogan’s alleged drink driving case adjourned

Councillor Ciaran Brogan has had a charge of allegedly being drunk in charge of a vehicle adjourned.
The case against Councillor Brogan, who has just concluded his term as Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council, was before a sitting of Letterkenny District Court today having been adjourned from a previous sitting in March.
He is charged with being in charge of a mechanically propelled vehicle while exceeding the alcohol limit on June 22 last year.
The case is being brought by the Director of Public Prosecutions
Judge Paul Kelly adjourned matters to a sitting of Letterkenny District Court on December 1st.
