Derry manager Damian Barton reminded his players after Saturday’s All Ireland qualification win over Meath that they will not have achieved in the championship this season if they do not reach the last eight.
But he added that he is “just happy for the boys” following their hard fought comeback win yesterday afternoon.
Meath were in command at half-time, but Derry rallied after the restart and Damian praised his players like Gareth McKinless and goalscorer Niall Loughlin.
