It has been confirmed that a meeting will take place over equal retention for fire-fighters on Arranmore and Tory Island.
The issue of island fire fighters not receiving the same retention as those on the mainland was raised at a recent meeting of Glenties Municipal district.
The meeting between senior fire officer of Donegal County Council, Councillors and represenetative of both islands is set to take place by summers end.
