Paddy McCourt joins Glenavon on one year deal

Paddy McCourt
Northern Ireland winger Paddy McCourt has agreed a one-year contract with Glenavon.
McCourt left Luton Town to return home in May after his wife Laura was diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The 32 year old had been linked with a move back to Derry City, but manager Kenny Shiels turned down the opportunity to sign him.
Shiels made the decision to place his faith in the youth development system he has implemented at the Brandywell this year.
McCourt was one of two signings unveiled by Glenavaon on Tuesday night, the other was Guy Bates who joined from Linfield.
