The UK’s Attorney General says the judges who ruled against ministers over leaving the EU should not “relegate the outcome of the referendum.”
A British Supreme Court hearing starts next week to decide whether the Prime Minister can begin the exit process – or whether Parliament has to back it first.
Jeremy Wright, the UK Government’s top legal officer, says the case “cannot be resolved in a vacuum, without regard to the outcome of the referendum.”
