Murlog Water Main Replacement Project to commence in coming weeks

The Murlog Water Main Replacement Project is due to commence within the coming weeks.
As part of Irish Water’s national €500m Leakage Reduction Programme over 1.6km of ageing water main, service connections and ancillary works will be replaced.
The project is due to last for a duration of 6 weeks.
Irish Water say customers will benefit from significant improvements in network performance, supply pressure, security and supply quality.
They advise local residents that work will be limited to short sections to minimise impact and 48 hours will be given to planned water shut offs.
The project has been prioritised by Irish Water to enable Donegal County Council complete resurfacing works in the area.
