Letterkenny’s Joe Dunleavy helped Ulster A to a 24-18 win over Scarlets Premiership Select in their British and Irish Cup campaign today at Banbridge RFC.
It was 13-0 to Scarlets after 15 minutes, but a converted try from Aaron Cairns got Ulster A off the mark.
Dunleavy made his mark on the game on 26 minutes when he stretched over for his first Ulster A try, which Johnny McPhillips converted. 17-13 was the half time score.
The second half saw both sides score tries, but Dunleavy and Ulster A held on for the win.
