A strike due to begin this Wednesday at the Inishowen Oil Company Ltd has been deferred following an agreement by the company to enter into talks with the workers’ union.
The strike was called after it was claimed that the Inishowen Oil Company had refused to accept an invitation by the Workplace Relations Commission to a conciliation conference in relation to a pay claim.
