Shiels speaks of plans for “greatness” at Derry City


Following on from the news that Kenny Shiels is to stay on as Derry City manager until 2019, the Candystripes boss has been speaking about his future plans for the club which will return to the Brandywell next season.
In today’s Derry News he has revealed his plans to work towards ‘greatness’ at the club, and has called for the public to get behind the team in bigger numbers.
Noting the financial clout of Cork City, Dundalk and Shamrock Rovers, he knows that Derry must attract greater attendances.
