GRA claims cutbacks are putting Gardai in Donegal at risk


Gardaí in Donegal say cuts to officer numbers in the county are leaving many crimes going undetected and unreported.
Overall Garda numbers in the county have fallen by 23 per cent over the past seven years – while a number of stations have also been closed.
Brendan O’Connor is Garda Representative Association spokesperson in Donegal.
He says the situation is unsustainable – and officers are being put at risk……………
