Ireland fought hard to overcome the 10 point lead that Australia had amassed in the first test, but a strong second-half showing from Australia was enough to see them out 116-103 winners in the series, with Australia running out 53-50 winners today.
Conor McManus was named Ireland’s Player of the Series, and showed why again today when he scored 16 points.
Michael Murphy had a series total of 26 points, kicking 6 points today in a tightly contested game.
