A senior Garda has suggested they could look at re-opening all rural garda stations closed during the crash.
It’s already been decided to re-open six, and Assistant Commissioner John O’Driscoll suggests more could be opened as resources become available.
He says they need to look at areas with a growing population that may need more policing:
