At the World Indoor Tug o War Championships held in China yesterday, Gerard Porter from the Carndonagh Tug o War Club won Gold. He was a member of the St. Pats, Louth team that won the 560Kg division.
St. Pats, Ireland also won the 640Kg division with a Chinese team 2nd and a Dutch team 3rd.
Today, 3 Clonmany men, Sean Doherty, Dan Harkin and Andrew McGonigle were on the Irish team that won bronze in the 680kg category.
